Rockfab Kitchen and Bath is Hiring a Sales/Design Consultant Near Roanoke, VA
Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Design Consultant to join our team. As a Design Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting clients in creating their dream spaces. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a passion for design and a desire to work in a dynamic and creative environment. There is an wonderful opportunity to make up to $80K per year in this position. This job does require Saturday hours 10am to 3pm.
Duties:
- Meet with clients to understand their design preferences and project requirements
- Provide expert advice on color schemes, furniture selection, lighting, and accessories
- Create quotes from detailed floor plans and 3D renderings and client provided drawings.
- Assist clients in selecting materials, finishes, and fixtures
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of products and services
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing for clients
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales, and project details
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales is preferred but not required for the right person
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in CAD software for creating floor plans and 3D renderings
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques and the ability to upsell products or services
- Familiarity with kitchen and bath remodel sales is desirable
- Ability to maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail
